Gilt-head bream

Description

Sea bream is one of the most sought-after fish for its excellent meat. It's considered a "white fish," like sea bass, turbot, and John Dory, and like these fish, the best way to bring out its properties and flavor is through simple cooking: roasted, steamed, or baked, washed down with white wine and accompanied by potatoes and lemon slices. It's excellent as an appetizer when filleted and sprinkled with spices and lemon.
